The Super Scooter: In Pip and Posy and the Super Scooter, Posy snatches Pip's scooter and tries to ride it. Unfortunately, it's harder than it looks and she falls off, giving herself a nasty cut.
The Little Puddle: In The Little Puddle, Pip comes to play at Posy's house. The friends have such a fun time playing that Pip forgets he needs to go to the loo, and soon there's a little puddle on the floor.
The Scary Monster: In The Scary Monster, Posy is happily baking cakes when a hairy monster appears at her door! Poor Posy, she feels quite alarmed - until she notices that it's not a real monster after all, but Pip dressed in a very silly costume.
The Big Balloon: In The Big Balloon, Pip is very proud of his big red balloon. But when he lets the balloon go and then it pops, he is inconsolable. Luckily, Posy has a clever idea to cheer up her friend and soon they are having fun again!
The Snowy Day: In The Snowy Day, Pip and Posy take care to wrap up well so they will keep warm outdoors. They have all sorts of fun until they decide to build a snowman, and that's when things start to go wrong.
The Bedtime Frog: In The Bedtime Frog, Posy goes for a sleepover at Pip's house. The friends have lots of fun together before bedtime.
The New Friend: In The New Friend, Pip and Posy are having a fun day at the seaside, collecting shells and digging the sand. But when Posy has a nap, Pip makes friends with a boy called Zac.
The Christmas Tree: In The Christmas Tree, Pip and Posy are busy decorating the tree with candy sticks, and biscuits, and a beautiful sugar star.
I picked up a Pip and Posy book in a charity shop and found that all my little grandchildren of 2 and 3 loved it. Bought the set for 2 of them and my 2 year old granddaughter can’t have them read enough. The stories are perfect for this age as they focus on topics that resonate with that age - the books are interesting, nicely illustrated and not too long. Pip and Posy are playmates and kind to each other.
